Where do I apply? German Embassies and Consulates are responsible for issuing visas. Visa applications must be submitted to the mission responsible for your place of residence. For Schengen visas, applications should be made at the mission of the country that is your main destination.
How much is it? The Schengen visa processing fee is typically EUR 90. Details.
How long does it take? Schengen visa applications are typically processed within 14 working days but waiting times may be longer during peak travel seasons (individual cases may take up to 45 days). You can apply 6 months to 15 days before your trip, though appointments can be made earlier.
Procedure: Visa applications must generally be submitted in person at the mission or visa application centre in your place of residence.
