REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Participants can register in two stages. Early registration will be open until ............, 2025, while late registration will be open from ................., 2025. We recommend early registration to benefit from a lower registration fee.

Please note: We charge a fixed flat fee for registration. If you wish to attend for less than two weeks, you will still be charged the same fee. The registration fee does not include lunches at the venue or accommodation, these are separate optional fees (see section Accommodation for more info on accommodation options).
Visa information
Some participants from foreign countries may require a visa to enter Germany. Please note that Germany is a part of the Schengen Area. You are encouraged to apply for a visa as soon as possible. The time frames for visa processing are difficult to predict with accuracy for any individual applicant and could vary significantly depending on the country of residence of the applicant. As the school lasts fewer than 90 days, participants should get the C type visa.
Letter of invitation
If you need a letter of invitation or some other document for your visa application, you can request it over email at info2025@esslli.eu once your registration fee is paid.
Citizens of the Russian Federation
Due to complex and lengthy visa procedures we regret that we cannot provide invitation letters to holders of Russian passports.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation of registration until 30 May 2025: full refund of the registration fee, minus € 25 administrative cost.
- Cancellation of registration from ................ until .............. 2025: 50% refund of the registration fee.
- Cancellation of registration after .............. 2025: no refund of the registration fee.
Cancellations will be accepted in writing only (info2025@esslli.eu) and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Unpaid registrations will be automatically cancelled after 4 weeks (after the registration date).
